Dear brothers and sisters! There are the Christ's words in the Gospel: “As I was in the dungeon and you visit Me”. How can we follow these Christ's words, knowing that not everybody can enter a prison? There are 7 pre-trial prisons in Moscow and about 10 000 people are behind bars. And only our Love and Care can sow the seeds of kindness in their souls. The thins that we need for the Butyrskaya prison are: books with spiritual content and artistic books, magazines and icons (especially nominal ones), prayerbooks (don't have at all now), Gospel (don't have at all), envelopes, paper, pens and calendars. Shaving sets (are given to bathhouse attendants), gaskets for women (there are 20 women) For men: briefs, undershirt, warm underwear, sports trousers, T-shirts, sweaters and caps. All kinds of shoes: from winter shoes till slippers. Tea and something for tea.
